These Terms and Conditions govern your use of evchargermarkham.ca (the “Website”), operated by Markham EV Professionals. Electrical services quoted through the Website are provided by Freedom Electrical, ESA/ECRA Licence #7011915 (the “Contractor”). By using the Website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Who provides the services
Markham EV Professionals operates the Website and helps connect homeowners with the Contractor. All electrical work is performed by Freedom Electrical, a contractor licensed through the Electrical Safety Authority and registered with ECRA. Any agreement to carry out work is between you and the Contractor.
Quotes and pricing
- Price ranges shown on the Website are general starting guides, not offers. The price of your project depends on your home, panel capacity, wire run and other site conditions.
- A quote becomes binding only when it is provided in writing by the Contractor and you accept it. Quote requests are free and carry no obligation.
- Quotes based on photos or information you provide may change after an on-site review if conditions differ from what was described.
- Permit and ESA inspection are included in a written quote only where the quote says so.
Information on this Website
Guides, rebate information and cost estimates are provided for general information only and are not electrical, legal, tax or financial advice. Rebates, utility programs and codes change, and eligibility is decided by the program administrator, so please confirm details with the source. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or current.
What you submit
You agree that the information and photos you send us are accurate and that you are entitled to share them. You give us permission to use them to prepare quotes and contact you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit unlawful, harmful or misleading content or use automated means to submit forms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the Website's operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, or copy or reuse its content for commercial purposes without our written permission. The Website's text, graphics, logos and design belong to Markham EV Professionals or its licensors; the ESA/ECRA logo belongs to its owner and is shown to indicate our licensed status.

Disclaimer
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Warranties on installed work, if any, are those stated in your written agreement with the Contractor.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Markham EV Professionals is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the Website or reliance on its content, and its total liability for any claim relating to the Website is limited to $100 CAD. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have under your written agreement with the Contractor or under Ontario consumer protection law.
Suspension
We may suspend or restrict access to the Website at any time if we believe these terms are being breached or to protect the Website or others.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. Any dispute not resolved informally is subject to the courts of Ontario.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect and the unenforceable part will be limited only as far as needed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
